I can’t stop thinking about one word.
There’s a line credited to Diana Vreeland: “You don’t have to be born beautiful to be wildly attractive.”
Wildly is doing a lot of work in that sentence, and I love every bit of it. It’s the word for the woman who walks in and the whole room turns a little. Nobody ever got called wildly attractive for hiding something well.
A whole industry runs on the instruction to minimize, and the woman at the very top of it picked the word wildly.
