We talked about the magic happening inside some of the fashion brands at Walmart yesterday. Let me take you into the Free Assembly ruffle bow blouse in plaid in case you haven’t seen it yet.
Oh my gosh, this is such a find.
Especially when you consider that Patou makes a similar blouse for $960!
But here's what you need to know.
On the rack? It looks absolutely terrible.
Ha! I'm serious.
It took me a little work to figure out why it looked so fabulous on the model and so disappointing in person.
And then I figured it out.

Skip That
The Scoop studded denim shirt.
Now, from a distance, I thought this looked really good. But when I got up close, the shiny buttons and studs just weren't doing it for me.
It's one of those pieces that looks more expensive from across the room than it does in your hands.
But you know my rule.
If you put it on and feel absolutely fabulous, who am I to tell you otherwise?
Feel-good fashion wins every time.
PUT ON Find one piece in your closet you've given up on because it never looks quite right.
Give it a good steam.
You might be surprised what a little love can do.

Based on your recommendation, I tried the Free Assembly ruffle bow short sleeve top in denim, and while I LOVED the bow and collar, the sleeves didn’t work on me at all. They were just too puffy for me as a petite. I’m loving the long sleeve plaid, though, and really hope that one will work for me!
